Of course it isn’t fair. It’s an ideological gamble from the right wing!
What isn’t fair is the lack of vision about how to replace lost jobs and how to create growth. Where’s the thinking about sustainability and the environment – ie about the future? Surely sensible investment here could reap dividends?
